GUM GRAFTING?
If gum disease is allowed to worsen over time, it may lead to gum recession, which can lengthen the appearance of the teeth, create gaps (black triangles), and increase tooth sensitivity. With new and innovative techniques to restore lost gum tissue, management of this disease has significantly advanced.

This can be accomplished by replacing the gums' supporting structure with special bone substitute materials. In addition, to fix these flaws caused by recession, gum tissue can be surgically moved and transferred from one area of the mouth to another (often the palate).
