COMPOSITE
BONDING

FROM £350

WHAT IS
COMPOSITE BONDING?

Composite bonding is a procedure in which a dentist or dental hygiene therapist uses a dental composite resin to improve the appearance of the teeth. It is less costly and safer than standard veneers. It’s also quicker, taking minutes rather than days to complete. Chips, cracks, and diastema gaps can all benefit from this treatment. Bonding is sometimes referred to as “veneers without the veneers,” and our patients adore it for its excellent quickness, low cost, and smile makeover-like effects.

ADVANTAGES OF
COMPOSITE BONDING

Composite bonding is typically completed in a single visit to the dentist. It’s a quick and easy solution to address minor cosmetic concerns. As soon as the composite is put, it is hardened using UV radiation, resulting in a tooth that can be safely bit down by the end of the session. Bonding is a non-invasive process as well. Crowns and veneers, for example, permanently remove a portion of the tooth. To apply composite bonding, the surface of the tooth simply needs to be roughened to assist the resin attach, implying that the tooth structure stays intact.

AFTERCARE FOR COMPOSITE BONDING

Taking care of your teeth might help a bonded tooth last longer.

Self-care recommendations include:

-brushing at least twice a day and flossing every day -

-avoiding hard foods and candies-

-not biting your nails-

- avoiding coffee, tea, and cigarettes for the first two days after the surgery to avoid stains -

If you chip or break the bonding material, or if you feel any sharp or rough edges following the operation, see a dentist.

THE BENEFITS &
DRAWBACKS OF TOOTH BONDING

For a variety of reasons, composite bonding is an excellent treatment option for many patients. For starters, it’s a brief consultation, and patients only need to see the dentist or oral hygiene therapist once to finish the therapy. As a result, it is a one-time treatment. You will save both time and money as a result of this. This is in contrast to porcelain veneers, which require multiple appointments and can take up to three weeks to finish.
